The Gödöllő Applied Arts Workshop (GIM-House) was founded by professional artists of national and international renown in and around Gödöllő, in 1998 . Their aim is to revive the spirit and artistic heritage of the turn-of-the-century Gödöllő Art Colony of Europewide reputation , founded at the turn of the nineteenth century, introducing it to contemporary art, culture, education and international relations.

The GIM-House and Garden hosts contemporary art exhibitions , there are thematic events of a combination of arts; outdoor film projections, fashion shows, poetry and music recitals and the studios of the artists can also be visited.

Occasionally the visitors can view the studies, sketches and works of the great personages of the late secession art colony of Gödöllő ( Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch, Sándor Nagy, Jenő Remsey ). In addition to exhibitions and creative work, art education takes place in the GIM-House . People who want to learn about different crafts (g obelin weaving, textile techniques, ceramics, drawing, painting ), are at their best.

Saturday-Sunday from 14.00 to 17.00 (1 November to 31 March)
Saturday-Sunday from 14.00 to 18.00 (1 April to 31 October)
